Getting Started

VCLARIFI is Decision Infrastructure for the AI age. It helps you make clearer, more defensible decisions by structuring assumptions, testing risks, exploring alternatives and creating a traceable record before commitment.

VCLARIFI is designed for individuals, professionals, businesses and organisations making consequential decisions. It can also be applied to decisions involving AI agents, industrial systems and autonomous environments.

You start with the decision you are considering. VCLARIFI structures the decision, surfaces the assumptions underneath it, examines relevant evidence and dependencies, tests uncertainty and risk, and helps you understand what must be true before you commit.

Spreadsheets and templates organise information. General AI tools can generate answers. VCLARIFI is designed around the decision itself: the assumptions being relied upon, the evidence supporting them, the uncertainties that remain and the conditions under which commitment is justified.

The objective is not simply a better answer. It is a more defensible basis for action.

No. VCLARIFI is designed to improve the quality, transparency and defensibility of decision-making. It helps you understand the decision and what it depends on. Authority for the decision remains with the person or organisation responsible for it.

You receive a structured view of the decision, including the assumptions, evidence, dependencies, risks and other factors relevant to commitment, together with a traceable decision record.

Next: Explore how the VCLARIFI Kernel structures the reasoning behind a decision.
02
The VCLARIFI Kernel

The Kernel is the core decision-governance layer within VCLARIFI. It structures the assumptions, evidence, provenance, dependencies and uncertainty supporting a decision before commitment occurs.

Assumptions are made explicit rather than remaining hidden inside analysis or discussion. They can be connected to evidence, dependencies and confidence, making it easier to identify which assumptions are most consequential to the decision.

Evidence can be associated with the assumptions and claims it supports, including its provenance and confidence. This creates a clearer distinction between what is known, what is inferred and what remains uncertain.

VCLARIFI is designed to surface contradictions and tensions rather than silently smoothing them away. Conflicting evidence or assumptions can therefore be examined before they become embedded in a commitment.

Some evidence becomes less reliable as conditions change or time passes. Confidence decay provides a way to recognise that the strength of a decision's underlying basis may change rather than treating every input as permanently valid.

Decision readiness is about whether the basis for commitment is sufficiently understood. It considers the strength of the supporting evidence, unresolved assumptions, dependencies, contradictions and material uncertainty before action is taken.

03
Boundary & Commitment

The Boundary is the point where reasoning becomes externalised commitment — where analysis becomes an approval, instruction, recommendation or action with real-world consequences.

VCLARIFI can record the confidence, conditions, evidence and authority associated with a commitment. This creates a clear distinction between exploring a decision and authorising an outcome.

VCLARIFI is focused on the governance of decisions and externalised commitment. It is not designed to expose or govern a model's private internal reasoning or sub-second internal processing.

Yes. VCLARIFI is designed to support environments where AI agents or autonomous systems may move from analysis to action. The focus is on the conditions, authority and decision basis associated with that commitment.

04
Record & Governance

VCLARIFI creates a traceable record of the decision basis: what was being decided, the relevant assumptions and evidence, material conditions and the authority associated with commitment.

It makes the basis of a decision easier to understand later. Instead of reconstructing why a commitment was made from emails, documents and memory, the relevant decision context can be retained in a more structured form.

VCLARIFI's governance architecture is designed around attributable, signed events so that material actions can be connected to the relevant authority and decision context.

Yes. VCLARIFI is designed to support repeatable decision discipline across teams and organisations, including environments where evidence, policy, authority and accountability need to remain traceable.

05
Security & Privacy

VCLARIFI is designed with security, privacy and tenant isolation as core architectural considerations. For current details on controls and data handling, refer to the Security & Assurance and Privacy information published by VCLARIFI.

VCLARIFI is designed so that customer decision data is not treated as training material for external models. Current data-handling terms should always be read together with VCLARIFI's published Privacy and Security documentation.

Tenant isolation forms part of VCLARIFI's security architecture, helping keep one customer's decision environment separated from another's.

Detailed information is available through VCLARIFI's Security & Assurance and Privacy pages. Enterprise customers can also contact VCLARIFI to discuss security and deployment requirements.

06
Use Cases

VCLARIFI can be used wherever the consequences of commitment justify more structured reasoning. That includes personal, professional, business, AI and autonomous-system decisions.

Yes. Examples include buying a property, evaluating an investment, deciding whether to take a job or considering relocation. The same discipline can be applied without turning the process into a corporate exercise.

Yes. Business applications include market, investment, operating-model and risk decisions, as well as other strategic or operational commitments where assumptions and dependencies need to be visible.

It can help structure decisions about AI models, training data, whether an AI system should be authorised to make a particular decision and whether the system is sufficiently understood and governed for the intended use.

VCLARIFI is intended to support governance around consequential autonomous action — including whether a system should act, whether it is ready, whether the mission should proceed and whether the system remains within defined parameters.

07
Pricing & Access

One Governed Decision is US$250. A five-decision pack is US$1,000 and a 20-decision Business Pack is US$3,500. Enterprise and Industrial & Autonomous Systems deployments are priced separately through VCLARIFI.

No subscription is required for the standard decision packs. You purchase the number of decisions you need rather than paying a recurring subscription for those packs.

One Governed Decision is designed for a single important decision. The five-decision pack suits repeat users and professionals. The 20-decision Business Pack is designed for SMEs and professional firms with recurring decision needs.

Enterprise arrangements are available for organisations, teams and AI-agent governance. VCLARIFI also supports discussions for industrial, infrastructure, machine and autonomous-system deployments.

08
Technical

No. VCLARIFI is designed to be model-, vendor- and cloud-neutral at the decision-governance layer. The purpose is to govern the basis and authority for commitment rather than depend on one underlying AI provider.

The VCLARIFI Kernel has been implemented in reference form with a REST interface and signed governance events. Integration requirements can be discussed directly with VCLARIFI.

VCLARIFI is designed as decision infrastructure rather than a replacement for every system around it. Enterprise integration depends on the use case, architecture and governance requirements.

The core Kernel exists in reference implementation, including its REST interface and signed governance events. VCLARIFI continues to develop the broader product and deployment environment around that decision infrastructure.

09
