Architecture & Assurance
VCLARIFI is designed to be inspectable. This page describes what the platform computes, what it records, and where its boundary sits.
Core Architecture
The governance logic underpinning every commitment.
VCLARIFI captures material assumptions together with the evidence that supports them, where that evidence came from and how confidence changes over time.
It identifies contradictions, tests dependencies and assesses whether the conditions for commitment have been met. A commitment becomes available only when the required evidence, authority and conditions are satisfied. Every commitment is then recorded as a signed governance event.
Operating Boundary
Where VCLARIFI governance begins and ends.
VCLARIFI governs the externalised commitment — what a person, system or agent proposes to commit to, together with its stated confidence and conditions.
It does not attempt to govern or interpret the internal reasoning of AI models or the real-time control loops of machines. This boundary is deliberate, allowing VCLARIFI to operate as a neutral governance layer across different models, vendors, clouds and operating environments.
Assurance Record
How commitments remain attributable and traceable.
Governance events are signed and attributable, creating a durable record of each commitment.
Decisions remain traceable to the evidence, policy and authority under which they were made, while tenant data remains isolated.
Implementation Status.
What has been implemented and exercised to date.
VCLARIFI’s core governance architecture has been implemented and exercised in reference form, including the end-to-end commitment flow and generation of signed governance events through a REST interface.
The capability has also been applied in reference form on a major infrastructure programme. VCLARIFI distinguishes reference capability from independently accepted and commissioned production capability.
Intellectual Property
The proprietary methods underpinning VCLARIFI.
VCLARIFI’s methods, including assumption governance, fragility computation, readiness gating and signed decision records — are the subject of a filed patent family.
